What is Reiki?
Reiki is the channeling of energy within the universe. It originates from japan and is a simple, effective, non-intrusive type of therapy. It was founded by Mikao Usui who intended to use it for one's own self healing and spiritual development but since then it has found a use in helping and treating others.
There are five principals of Usui reiki, these are;
Just for today do not worry.
Just for today do not anger.
Be humble (remind yourself of your many blessings).
Be honest in your dealings with people.
Be compassionate towards yourself and others.

What can reiki do for me and/or my horse?
Reiki can do many things for people and animals. In humans its known to reduce one's stress levels and help assist in relaxation; it can also help to achieve weight loss, quitting smoking, increased motivation, nervous anxiety and improved well being.
In animals similar results are achieved, Reiki will calm a horse and help if the horse has anxiety, stress, emotional issues or is; spooky, twitchy or sensitive. Reiki will also aid with the recovery of physical injuries such as ligament and tendon injuries, colic, weaving and box walking. With rider and horse we can deepen the relationship and improve performances from both.

White heart Reiki is located in Warwickshire and is run by master Reiki practitioner Samantha Dickens who specializes in human and horse Reiki therapy.
Samantha has over 10 years of Reiki experience and has competed across the country in Show Jumping winning numerous titles.It is this passion for horses that has led to the development of White Heart Reiki.
